Nic Owabi

Nic wakes up one evening sensing something wrong. He gets up out of the bed quietly without waking Kaden up. He quickly puts on his clothes and clips his lightsaber onto his belt. He quietly leaves his bedroom and walks down the hallway to the turbolift. He boards it and heads down to the basement. He exits the lift and approaches a door labeled "Ancient Artifacts". He opens the door and walks in. In the center of the room, was a large circular artifact on a raised pedestal. His father had uncovered it while building the mansion. As he slowly approaches the artifact, its outer ring begins rotating and six triangular devices equally spaced light up. The very top device lights up lastly. The interior of the artifact glows blue and then emits a large blue gaseous/liquid towards him.

"Osik!" Nic yells and uses the Force to leap backwards, landing behind a crate. He crouches down behind it and pulls his lightsaber into his hand. He quietly waits to see what happens next.

The blue gaseous/liquid cloud retreats back into the artifact and the interior now looks like rippling waves on a lake. Four people emerge from the rippling liquid. One person is a tall dark-skinned man with a golden symbol tattooed into his head. He is carrying a tall staff that appears to be a weapon. The next person is a fair-skinned man with dark hair and wearing glasses. He is armed with a small handgun. The next person is a fair-skinned man wearing sun glasses. He is armed with an automatic weapon. The last person is a fair-skinned woman with blond hair. She also has an automatic weapon. All of them were wearing combat fatigues. Behind them, the artifact deactivated.

The young man with the glasses stepped forward. "Look, there is a dial home device here." He said to the man with the sun glasses who was obviously in charge.

"Of course Daniel. There's always a D.H.D. next to a Stargate. Captain Carter, you and Daniel go that way. Teal'c and I will go this way. Recon the area and report back here in ten minutes." The sun glasses man said.

"Yes sir. Daniel, let's go." Carter says. She and Daniel begin walking toards a door on the east wall.

"Very well O'Neill." Teal'c says and they both begins walking towards a door on the west wall.

Nic quietly uses Force Cloak and becomes stealthed. He reclips his saber to his belt and stands up. He slowly makes his way toward the thing they said was a Dial Home Device. He looks around and sees that both groups have gone through their doors. He pulls out his datapad and quickly locks down the upper levels of the Mansion to keep Kaden, Jael and Jaems safe. He then activates the Mansion's security and then puts his datapad back into his pocket. He looks down at the device and notices that it has a lot of glyphic symbols on it. He shakes his head in wonder and then smiles realizing that this artifact, this Stargate was a portal to other worlds. He walks over to the Gate and sits down on the steps leading up to it. He takes out is datapad and begins downloading information on the Stargate and waits for both groups to come back.

Captain Carter and Daniel go through the East door and walk down a hallway and go through another door at the end. They enter the Medical Lab and look around.

"Hey Sam. What does this chamber look like to you?" Daniel asks uing his video recorder, recording everything they see.

"I know Daniel. This looks like a Medical Lab. Sam said as she looped her arm through the strap of the weapon. She walked over to the computer and started looking at it.

"Yeah. You know, this is the first place so far that we've come to with technology similar to our own yet more advanced." Daniel said.

"It sure is Daniel. Well, ten minutes are about up. Let's head back out to the Gate Room."

Daniel nods and they both head back toward the Stargate.

O'Neill and Teal'c walk through the West door. They walk down a hallway and enter a door at the end of it.

O'Neill looks around and then looks at Teal'c. "Hey Teal'c. Is this what I think it is?"

Teal'c looks at O'Neill and nods. "You are correct Colonel O'Neill. They appear to be shield and power generators for the structure we are in. The generators appear to be more advanced than that of the Goa'uld."

"Wow, well we better head back to the Gateroom. Come on." O'Neill tells him.

Teal'c nods and they both head back to the Stargate.

Nic looks up while still cloaked as O'Neill, Carter, Daniel and Teal'c reenter the room. He quietly stands up and watches them.

"Captain. Did you and Daniel find anything or anyone?" O'Neill asks Carter.

"Well sir, we didn't find anyone, but we did find a medical lab with advanced technology. Dr. Frazier might be interested in this. What did you guys find?"

"We found a shield and power generator room that are far more advanced than the Goa'uld." Teal'c explains.

"Well, let's head back to base and debrief with General Hammond. Daniel, dial us home." O'Neill said.

"Will do Jack." Daniel said and approaced the D.H.D.

"Daniel Jackson, wait. Something is wrong." Teal'c says suddenly pointing his energy staff towards the Gate.

Nic's eyes widen and he quickly draws his lightsaber but does not activate it.

The Stargate Team train their weapons towards the Gate.

Nic sighs and drops the Force Cloak and looks at them.

"I mean you no harm. Welcome to my home." Nic tells them.

"Who are you?" Col. O'Neill asks Nic.

"I am Jedi Master Nicbr Owabi, a member of the Knights of Ashla here on Dantooine." He explains.

Carter looks at Jack and Daniel. "Did he say Jedi Master on Dantooine?"

Daniel grinned. "Yeah, I think he did. Apparently the Star Wars universe is real."

Daniel stepped forward. "My name is Daniel Jackson. We are from Earth. We came through your Stargate." He explains to Nic.

"Yes, I know. I was here when you all arrived. This is actually the first time that this device was used. My father uncovered it while building the Mansion." Nic says.

Sam stepped closer. "Wait a minute. Are you telling us that we're inside a Mansion?"

Nic slowly nods his head. "Yes, we're in the sublevels right now.

"Wow, this is incredible." She exclaimed and then looked at her watch.

"Colonel, we should be heading back now."

Jack nods and Daniel moves back to the Dial Home Device and presses seven glyphs then touches the large red jewel in the center. The Stargate activates and Sam enters a code into her transponder.

Nic looks at Col. O'Neill. "Colonel, is there a way that I could accompany you guys. I could show you a lot of things to help you."

Jack hesitates and looks at the others.

"O'Neill, his technology far exceeds that of the Goa'uld. They may have what we need to defeat them." Teal'c explains.

"Alright, let's go then. Master Owabi, after you please." Jack said. Nic bowed once and approached the Stargate.

Sam and Daniel stepped to either side of Nic.

"Don't worry, its a piece of cake." Sam told him.

"Piece of cake, right." Nic smiled nervously at them. They walked forward and stepped through the Stargate vanishing. Jack and Teal'c followed and then the Gate deactivated.
