They got to talking and remembered they served in the Imperial Academy together and went on several dangerous missions together, as well as becoming really close. They discovered that they trusted each other with their lives. Nick has come to a decision to rejoin the Empire. Athena accepted him and reinstated his rank of Captain from the Academy. He is now thirty-two years old and now a Captain of the Imperial Stormtrooper Army and is currently on a mission on the Planet Elom with her and Cassus. During the mission, things got to overwhelming on Elom, so Nick, Athena and Cassus had to evacuate to safety. Athena was knocked unconscious by an exploding MTT, so Nick safely returned her to her quarters in her Throne Room. Several days later, Athena and Nick take two battalions of Stormtroopers and return to Elom where Lonefire and Osiris join up with them. They successfully stop the terrorists and mercenaries and save the hostages and free the planet. After they return to the Throne Room, Athena makes Nick the Moff of Elom and the Bordering Regions. Nick gladly accepted his new responsibilities and immediately sent his Fleet to orbit Elom. He begins making preparations to arrive at Elom. He arrives at Elom and builds an Imperial Palace and a Stormtrooper barracks. He then decides to explore the A'driannamieq mountains and changes into the form of a Jaguar. He enters the mountains and becomes gravely wounded. Athena hears his call of help through the Force and rushes to his rescue. Athena and Cassus arrive and retrieve him. They all immediately depart Elom and head to Athena's Throne Room on Bastion. She gets Gabriel and Cate to change him back to his human form and they heal him. Meanwhile, the Empire attacks the Grey Jedi Order on Zenoma Sekot. The Empire begins taking heavy casualties while Athena manages to make it to the planet's surface. Sekot then takes matters into its own and begins to defend itself. It creates a massive fire storm. Athena gets caught in it and is killed in the blast. Nick, at her Throne Room, feels her death through the Force and is devastated. He then has a marble statue built in her likeness and has it delivered to her homeworld of Obroa-Skai at her Funeral Pyre. There, he promises that he will love her to the end of his days. He returns to his shuttle and departs Obroa-Skai and returns to his sector of Elom. He also has another statue set in the courtyard at the Imperial Palace on Elom. A week later, he attended the funeral of his love, Athena, on Obroa-Skai and paid his final respects to her. He knew he had to move on, but in his heart, he would always love her and he would find some way in the Force to bring her back to him. One night while at the Starlight Beach Club, SK came into the club and started being his usual self. Nick, in a fit of rage, placed a pack of Thorium Charges on a table. As he got up to leave, he activated the timer and then walks out. When he was halfway up the path to the landing platform, the charges detonated destroying the club and supposedly killing SK. Nick smiles heartlessly and then boarded his shuttle and returned to Elom. A couple of days later, Nick and Cassus travel to Bastion to Athena?s Throne Room to in an attempt to try and find her Last Will and Testament that will state her successor. It is then that Nick learns the SK has survived the explosion at the Starlight Beach Club. Cassus and Nick have found the Will and it stated the Ranik Light, Athena's son is the heir. Cassus is to be the acting Emperor until Ranik is of age. Nick and Tulak Hord will be acting as advisors. Cassus and Nick presented the Will before the Senate and before the Senators could even react Lonefire arrived to accuse them of tampering with the holo disc. Nick, not wanting to listen to the arguing and shouting, left the Senate Chambers and returned to Elom frustrated at the turn of events. While he was sleeping in his quarters on Elom, his eyes suddenly turn white and his vision fades. Now Nick must learn how to rely on his other senses and use the Force to see until it returns. Thanks to Caitlin's help, Nick now has the aid of a little golden queen fire-lizard to help him get around. Impression had happened and now Nick and the little queen are bonded for life. A couple days later, Cait, Nick, Jade, Gus and Aeron all head for planet Rishi to try and stop the YV from unleashing the deadly virus. They complete their mission, but the damage has already been done. Rishi has now been quarantined and blockaded by a powerful fleet from Augustus Starwarrior. Nick has returned to Elom and has mysteriously received his sight back. One morning while at the Starlight Beach Club, Jade?s sister, Merissa Nephlium was wounded in an explosion that was meant for Jade. Jade held Merissa close in her arms and then passed on. It is at that moment that Jade has forsaken the light side of the Force and began training as a Sith and began tutelage under Darth Nephlium. Jade has renamed her club the Fallen Star Beach Club in honor of her sister?s memory. Not long after, Darth Lonefire and Cassus manage to gather blood from those that had betrayed Athena. Athena?s spirit was inside Cassus? body at the time to prevent her from being lost to the underworld. While at the Sanctuary on Mustafar, Lonefire begins an ancient Sith Incantation using the blood gathered and from souls of the Sith Undead. He finishes the incantation and adds his own blood which suddenly opens a portal to the netherworld. Athena?s spirit suddenly leaves Cassus? body and renders him unconscious. Her spirit flies through the portal and emerges fully corporeal and alive and full of anger. Athena then destroys the Sanctuary supposedly killing Lonefire. She leaves Mustafar and returns to her Throne Room on Bastion and finds Nick there asleep in his room. Overcome with powerful emotions and longing, she spends the night in passion with Nick and they both fall asleep in each other?s arms. Before they fall asleep, Athena tells Nick of her intentions to reform the RGE into a new Sith Order. Nick has sworn himself to her and to follow her and she makes him a Sith Lord and promises to train him in the dark ways of the Sith. Several days later, Nick and Athena travel to Korriban to begin his training as a Sith Lord. He succeeds in his training and Athena renames him Darth Camalus. His path down the Dark Side has just begun. The next day, he duels Kevin Kenobi at Athena's Officer's Club. The duel ends in a draw with Camulus walking away with a lightsaber burn on his right arm. But, it is enough to advance him. Athena and Camulus return to Korriban and he takes his final trial and passes through the Flames of the Dark Side. He passes the trial and is announced Darth Camulus, a Sith Master of the Dark Side. One day at the Fallen Star Beach Club, Athena enters with Camulus and is caught in a duel with Xerxes and Jade. Xerxes manages to escape and leaves Athena dealing with Jade. They both duel it out until Jade looses consciousnous. Athena leaves with Camulus and return to Korriban where Camulus heals Athena of her wounds. She then falls into a deep restorative healing sleep. Camulus falls asleep right beside her, keeping her safe. Several days later, Athena and Camulus head to the Typhon Republic capital of Typhon Prime with Camulus' Fleet and Athena's Reserve Fleet. Camulus and Athena land on the surface with five platoons of Stormtroopers and begin a systematic attack on the city. Once the city is taken, they both return to the Imperial Revenge, Camulus' Flagship Executor Super Star Destroyer to find that an enemy Fleet belonging to Kite, a member of the Grey Jedi Order has opened fire on them. They retaliate and manage to destroy one of his ships but not before destroying Athena's Interdictors. Kite's Fleet then enter hyperspace and leaves the Typhon system. Victorious, Camulus and Athena return to the Throne Room at Bastion. About a week later, Camulus and Athena head to Dantooine. While there, they run into Jade Albright and Xerxes. Jade tells Athena that she has a gift for her and ends up throwing a cauldron full of golden liquid at Athena which covers her from head to toe. A struggle begins and Jade throws herself onto Camulus? lightsaber, sacrificing herself. Camulus is stunned and shocked that Jade would do this. Camulus gently sets her on the ground and pulls his lightsaber out of her and deactivates it. Xerxes is enraged and takes Jade and heads back to the Fallen Star Beach Club. Athena then breaks from from the liquid cocoon and they both leave to return to Bastion. Once on Bastion, Camulus feels Jade die and become one with the Force. He is devastated, so he goes to the Fallen Star Beach Club where he sees Cait. She tries to comfort him and explain to him that it wasn?t his fault, that she had planned this. He finally understands and then Jax Emos comes in. They begin talking and settle their differences. Camulus agrees to go into exile and return to his homeworld of Earth to stay. Camulus then quietly leaves and returns to Bastion.
