Hardcore Fans Always Pay Through the Nose
Halloween is quickly approaching, and the need for the perfect costume is always a must. This year I decided to look into getting a Stormtrooper outfit, and I realized that I'm not going to get one any time soon. The price of a Imperial Stormtrooper armor made out of ABS plastic, is about $700 no matter where you go. I do have the money to get it, but still, this is a gigantic investment for someone who doesn't have the resources or the skill and patientce to make one. Now I know most of there guys are hardcore fans as well, but for those who are equally passsionate about Star Wars and are younger and have a small income, this just plain old sucks. I currently right now have a Jedi Outfit that it's hood is being re-adjusted, but a Stromtrooper is always a costume that I've wanted since I first saw the original trilogy when I was about seven. I personally think that hardcore fans that don't have that much money should at least be able to get some sort of price reduction. But, then again, supply and demand. I know that the only real way to get and make sure that you can get the armor for a good price, and literally in your hands, is by going to conventions... now I gotta get me a plane ticket....
