Why is there no camo armor in Return of the Jedi?
I just finished watching the Return of the Jedi and was deeply engulfed in the Speeder Bike scene and all of a sudden it hit me. Why is there no camo armor in Return? In the Revenge of the Sith, there is camo armor. In the timeline of Return, did they just abandon the camo? I realize Return was made first and they didn't have the technological advances of today, but there is no explanation as to why the Empire stopped using camoflauge. Does anyone know the answer that I seek?

or quite simply they felt that they didn't need it anymore. I mean come on, you are in control of the galaxy and no one can hurt you. What Darth Vicious is one reason another more related to the movie is that, you must remeber, the Emperor knew of the Rebels attack so he let them know where the troops were. I actually have an answer to this one. ROTJ was made in 1983 at that time the US Military was still wearing green dungarees. The camouflage utilities were just being distributed around about that point in time.posted Jan 11, 2008 10:42 PM | Report Abuse
