Ben was born to a middle class family on Coruscant, somewhere around 24 ABY. He was discovered by the Jedi at a very young age, but his parents pleaded for them not take him. Unusually, the Jedi complied, and let him stay with his family. After growing for the first 18 years of his life, his parents finally told him about how the Jedi had discovered his Force sensitivity years before. He always knew there was something odd about himself, and he finally knew what. He decided that even if it was late, he had to pursue the life of a Jedi. He packed his things, and left for the Temple, leaving his family behind. He traveled up Coruscant's many levels to reach the Jedi Temple, and became a member of then thriving New Jedi Order. Some early mishaps discouraged him, but he passed the BUDs program and was apprenticed to a Jedi Knight, Ithilwen, as her first Padawan. They almost immediately struck up a bond between Master and Padawan, one that still stands today. Ben came to admire her greatly during his time as her Padawan. He learned a great many things from her, Force Powers, dueling, (the hard way) and ways to be the best Jedi he could be. He then attained the rank of Jedi Knight, and trained as a healer.

After searching for some time, he took an apprentice of his own, Inara Jinn. As the two began spending more time together as Master and Apprentice, a relationship began. They fell in love, but kept it hidden at least until Inara's training was finished. She soon attained the rank of Knight, making Ben immensely proud. Over the next couple months their relationship grew, even through some very tumultuous times. During this time, Ben also met another Jedi, Jaina. She was a Padawan to a friend of Ben's, G-Man, during this time. They became great friends, and still are to this day. Near the time when the NJO was falling apart, Ben found himself looking for answers; he had found one in where he would go next. Himself and a group of Jedi formed a new Jedi order, the Knights of Ashla. In the following days, Ben traveled the Galaxy, learning some new things, and his travels brought him to Dantooine. His life seemed very promising, but during those days of traveling, his relationship with Inara began to crumble, and they eventually went their separate ways. The next months were very stressful and overwhelming for Ben, as he was the head healer of the KoA, and faced many challenges due to battles and duels with their rival Sith group, the Crimson Blade. Prior to this, he had also attained the rank of Jedi Master. He found himself asleep in the Clinic many nights, exhausted from drawing on the Force so heavily to heal. Some weeks later, the CB was dissolved, but up rose a new Galactic force, the RGE. As the days passed, the KoA seemed to be slowly falling apart, and Ben was drawn away from Dantooine because of a family obligation. Gone for nearly 3 weeks, he returned to find the KoA locked in war with the Empire. He spent a couple weeks at Telosian Academy with his friend Jaina, hoping to be called into action. Nothing came, and not long after, the KoA was completely dissolved as well, all its Jedi going wherever they could. Ben takes the news just like any other hardship during his life--you may as well not worry about the past, the here and now is most important. Now a rogue, he will always remain a Jedi, and stay close to his friends. He has recently reunited with his mother and sister, Anniya and Amee, and would do anything to keep them safe...

Bio/personality: Amee is Ben's younger sister, born 4 years after him on Coruscant. They established a strong bond growing up, but she was devastated when he left to join the Jedi. For 3 years, she continued living with their mother, Anniya, in their home in Coruscant's middle-class sector. Being separated from Ben weighed heavily on her over that time period, but, she is a very positive person, always smiling and trying to look at the good things in life.

Whenever Ben returned to visit them, she was immensely happy, but also sad whenever he left to return to his Jedi duties. Before he left, he gave her the Ankarres Sapphire crystal that he had obtained on Dantooine, to remember him by until he returned. Strangely enough, when he returned, it was an escape mission, not easy in the least. Ben knew something bad was bound to happen, and when himself and Jaina arrived, they found themselves caught in the middle of a gang conflict.

Facing blaster shots and assassins as they navigated the backstreets, the Jedi and family escaped the planet, but not without some fancy flying, of course. Ben and Amee now are traveling the Galaxy, their brother/sister bond strong once again.
