Here's my attempt at a fan fiction, set during Operation Knightfall, Order 66, whatever you want to call it. It is told from the perspective of Ben Keto, brother to Serra Keto. I would like input, on what I could improve on, like/don't like, etc...


Coruscant, Jedi Temple, 19 BBY

14 year-old Ben Keto ran as fast as he could. He was confused, scared, and his mind was out of control. The Temple was being attacked by Clone Troopers, led by a mysterious cloaked figure, wielding a blue lightsaber. He struck Jedi after Jedi down unmercifully, the troopers overbearing the others with the surprising ambush. Ben continued to run, weaving through little-known passages of the Temple, hoping he could escape with his life. Inside his chaotic mind, he was set on one thing; find his sister Serra. Serra Keto, Jedi Knight, and his older sister, was here somewhere, and he had to find her. He heard blaster shots, and strangled cries as Jedi fell. His heart filled with sorrow as each life flickered out of existence. He told himself he had to continue, for himself, and for Serra. After a few more minutes of running, Ben is exhausted. He now stands at the foot of the Tower Of Knowledge, and he can hear the sounds of lightsabers clashing. Ben also senses a familiar presence, and he follows it like a beacon. Something draws him to that presence, and he follows it, all the way to the top of the Tower. As he climbs, his head swivels to the right, locking his gaze into a room of bookcases, several fallen and damaged. He pokes his head slightly, and his blue eyes widen in shock. His sister, Serra, and the hooded figure are dueling. Serra and her two green lightsabers flashing in the moves of Jar'Kai, and a single blue blade clashing against them, looking as in the powerful moves of Shien. The hooded figure steps back a bit, pulling his hood down. The features reveal the face of Anakin Skywalker, and Serra can only shake her head.

"Skywalker? Why this? You were the Chosen One...h-h-how could you?"

Skywalker just laughs evily, his facial features twisted in hate.

"I am no longer Anakin Skywalker, I am Darth Vader."

Ben sends Serra a message through the Force, through the bond they share as brother and sister.

"Serra, I'm here. Ben."

She replies back to him, blocking a series of powerful strikes from Vader.

"Ben, get out of here! Now!"

Ben nods his head slightly, but stops after one step away.


"Serra, I won't leave you, you're my sister, you're all I have."

A tear rolls down his cheek, as Serra Force Pushes Vader into a wall, temporarily incapacitating him. She looks at Ben, a surprisingly calm look on her face.

"Ben, go now! I want you to be safe. If I don't make it out..."

She is cut off as Vader leaps at her, his lightsaber slashing furiously. She turns just in time to block the attack, and Ben, a pained look on his face, turns and begins running away. Away from the Tower, the Temple, his sister, and away from all he has ever known.
