The bond forged between Volk and I was not suppose to be one that could be broken by absence, distance or time and no matter how much more special or beautiful or perfect than he might be, he was suppose to be irreversibly altered as I am. Because in my heart of hearts I will always belong to him so I had hoped he would always be mine. But he isn't nor was he ever truly. All the promises we made and plans we swore to are memories of the past. Unlike Rose I go forward not knowing if I was ever loved by her whose child I carry.

And my poor Rose, she is like a lost moon- her planet destroyed in some cataclysmic, disaster-movie scenario of desolation- that has continued, nevertheless, to circle in a tight little orbit around the empty space left behind, ignoring the laws of gravity. She has known the love most of us dream of and yet sadly it was stolen from her.

I know not how to help her....I am but one person, a friend, almost a sister but how do you help one who mourns the lose of a life such as hers? I would ask Aaron but he too mourns. Who else do I have? There is always my estranged future ex-husband but he is never around. All I know is she needs me and I shall not forsaken her now in her days of need. I will stay with her only going to Dantooine when I need too.
