Strengths: Has spent more then half of his life traveling through the galaxy, studying the Force from numerous perspectives as well as learning many different combat styles from native peoples and creatures. This has led to a mastery of nearly all combat forms and the Force itself. Even though he has seen a long life, he is still agile and strong.

History: Darth Saevio was born under the name Lyon Morsus around the time of 44 B.B.Y. He arrived late to the Jedi Temple, as he had been born on Mandalore. He found it hard to make friends, as he was an outsider to the rest of his group. Except for one person, who would become his best friend, an Iridonian by the name of Roshii Zularum. Both were viewed as "different" by the other Jedi, and they naturally fell in together. They progressed in the Force together, with Lyon moving slightly faster then Roshii. By the age of 10, they thought that they had learned everything possible from the light side, and turned to the ancient records of old Sith Lords. When the time came for them to be chosen, Roshii was picked first, which unsettled Lyon, as he was prideful of his own abilities. He was picked soon after, but by a Bothan Jedi Knight by the name of Salarr Tu'ca, whom he believed weak. At the age of 13, Lyon was more powerful then this Jedi who was 42.

For a year, Lyon traveled with his master, though the missions they went on did not satisfy Lyon's power. All were too diplomatic, the complete opposite of what Lyon had wanted. Roshii, meanwhile, was hunting down traitors, pirates, and crime lords in the name of the Republic. As the year progressed, Lyon grew more and more jealous of Roshii's life. But then, his luck changed. Around 30 B.B.Y, Lyon and his master went on a mission that was supposed to be as easy as the ones before it. But it was not. While on the mission, Lyon ran into Count Dooku. By then, he was already apprenticed to Darth Sidious. A brief fight ensued, leaving his master dead and Lyon in Dooku's power. He saw what power Dooku wielded, and agreed to join Dooku's soon to be Confederacy.

So this is what he did. He learned the ways of the Sith from Dooku, progressing as always at a remarkable pace. He served as a General during the first few years of the war, with his flagship, The Lion of Pain, at his command. He earned himself the nickname as the General of Pain referencing both the name of his ship, as well as his own ruthless techniques. He was honored among the Confederacy, and feared amongst the Republic.

But all was not well, for Lyon during this time. During the attack on Kamino, Lyon, now known as Darth Saevio to Sidious and Dooku, was given the task to take out the power supply of the cloning facility. During his mission, he met Roshii and his apprentice face-to-face, along with their battalion of clone troopers. Lyon hold his own against them, but there were too many. Then he opened something inside himself, and unleashed a blast of Force power that killed every last clone. Then he killed Roshii's apprentice with lightning from his eyes, and dueled Roshii. Roshii lost, and with his dying breath, reminded Lyon of who he had once been. Lyon awoke from his state of Force being to see that he had killed his best and only friend. He collapsed, and was rescued by some droids that had come to find him. The battle was lost, and Lyon questioned his motivation.

Then at the Battle of Dantooine, he faced off against Mace Windu. The fight left him with the scar on his left eye and a requirement for a metallic replacement arm. His troops left him for dead, and the battle was lost. Lyon recovered on Dantooine just long enough to make a trip to Coruscant, and wonder why even in his Darkness, he could not best Mace.

So he went to the Temple, to repent and learn more fully the other side of the Force. He was made a General and given a Victory-Class Star Destroyer for a flagship, which he named Outcast. He took his ship through the remainder of the war, running into his old flagship once and reducing it to scrap. He only lost his ship when Order 66 came about. After escaping in his Jedi Starfighter, he triggered a proton bomb he'd planted within the fuel lines to destroy the ship and every clone on it.

Once the Purge began, he sheathed his lightsaber and began work as a mercenary assassin, taking contracts from the Rebellion and the Empire alike. (This was the time when he changed his cloak and Jedi/Sith uniform to Al-Tair's black form.) He was well payed for his services, and he was good at it. He traveled under the names "Black Storm" and "Shade" to keep who he really was under wraps. But as all things in his life, problems arose. After assassinating a corrupt Imperial Senate member easily, the Empire grew wary of him. He was still given jobs, but now the galaxy feared the man called Black Storm.

The last job he worked as an Imperial was at the Battle of Hoth. He led a strike team into Echo Base and blasted his way through everything that got in his way. This showed the Empire that he was too dangerous to be left alive and placed a bounty on his head. Immediately after hearing this, Lyon joined the Rebel forces at the Battle of Endor, once again proving his military might in the space battle next to the Death Star 2. He received a Medal of Honor then disappeared again.

The next appearance came at the Battle of Coruscant, but only briefly. Some soldiers claim to have seen him take out a number of turbo laser batteries that had pinned down New Republic troops. He was not seen again until the Rise of Admiral Thrawn.

Over the previous years after the Purge and in between contracts, Lyon had spent his time traveling the galaxy, studying the Force from the eyes of the other Force-sensitive peoples, as well as training and studying various combat forms from these and other life-forms. But when Grand Admiral Thrawn came, Lyon wanted to know how the Chiss philosophies differed from what he'd seen so far. So, when Thrawn requested his assistance, he joined and began working as a personal assassin and secret bodyguard. the pay was good, and he had good standings with the Admiral, so he stayed as part of the Admiral's fleet until Thrawn's death. Though he had assassinated some within the New Republic,as they had no idea it was him, Lyon was able to just sink back into his galaxy-wide training without their interference.

He stayed secluded from the galaxy, studying and training for many more years. The galaxy moved through Palpatine's return, Imperial warlords and the Black Fleet Crisis, and Lyon Morsus was believed during these times to be little more then a legend. They remembered his work during the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War, his military might and ingenuity, as well as his knowledge of the Force. It was then that people knew him more as Shade or Black Storm then Lyon Morsus.

But he had not vanished from the galaxy, and he was certainly more then a legend. When disaster struck at Serpindal during 25 A.B.Y, Lyon could feel the long struggle coming. He knew about Serpindal precisely when it happened, he felt the tremor that rang out through the Force. And he was there at the Battles of Helska 4, though he did not reveal himself to the Republic commanders. He fought both times valiantly, shooting down numerous Yuuzhan Vong starships, despite the foreign technology.

The first time the Republic saw him during the fighting was at Ord Mantell, during the search for the Peace Brigade. The Republic was shocked to see him again, he had not been heard from for almost 16 years. They were even more shocked at the power and control he showed over the Force. By this time he was about 70 years old, and he was a true master of the Force, as well as numerous combat forms. He declined the offer of a commanding post, but took up his old Jedi Starfighter, and fought harder then most during the war, showing no remorse for the Yuuzhan Vong invaders. He aided the Republic in many of the ground and space battles, each time fighting the best he could, which was incredibly well indeed.

He was present during the Battle of Yag'Dhul, the Attack on the Baanu Rass, and the Fall of Coruscant, to name a few of his battles. after the Fall of Coruscant, Lyon remained there, saying "Coruscant is not lost as long as I remain." He sabotaged the Yuuzhan Vong operations, harassing them constantly and never letting the invaders have more then a moment of rest. This cost him his Jedi Starfighter, but the loss was worth it to him. So there he remained, becoming a legendary figure among the Shamed Ones and earning the grudging respect from the Yuuzhan Vong.

When the time came and the Republic attacked Coruscant, Lyon fought tooth and nail alongside them, giving them tactical information which contributed to the victory. He was with the Jedi who fought the Slayers sent by Onimi and Shimrra, striking those in his path down with apparent ease. with the war over, Lyon turned down an offer from Luke Skywalker to help with his the reconstruction of the Jedi Order, believing that his destiny led elsewhere. But he did not sink into the fabric of time, however. He was a hero for his actions, and he was respected throughout the galaxy by the Alliance and the Remnant. Both parties envies his skill and coveted his military prowess for their side, though he took neither. He stood out from the generic Jedi or military personnel of the time, because he was both, and simply because he a talented man in numerous respects.
