The History of Lyon Morsus
Okay. Here's the first post. I'm going to alternate between this style of writing and more in depth story-chapter like entries. Hope you like it. If not, that's your problem.
Part 1: Lyon and Roshii (40 B.B.Y.)
When Lyon first came to the Jedi Temple, he was only two years old. The Jedi had not found him at first because he was born on the planet Mandalore, a place most Jedi still preferred to avoid. Though he had been immersed in his culture for only 2 years, he still had deep roots within the civilization. The first thing his teachers noted was his inherit skill with a lightsaber, or any kind of weapon. Of course, they reasoned, it was due to his Mandalorian heritage. Because of his difference, Lyon was an outcast from the other younglings. Until he met Roshii. Roshii Zularum was an Iridonian Jedi that had also arrived late to the Temple, though they were both now 4 years old. Now, many will question why the Jedi would accept these older students. The answer is simple. Both were extremely talented, and the Jedi believed that they could still teach the 2 youngsters.
On the whole they were right. The two boys learned the path of the Jedi, and succeeded in their classes. But one thing was wrong. Lyon had a deep interest in the Sith, unlike Roshii. Lyon believed that if you knew your enemy, you could defeat them. So, under cover of darkness, Lyon studied the Sith of the past. Ajunta Pall, Marka Ragnos, Revan, Nihilus, Sadow, Nadd, Kun, all of them. And as he studied, he was captivated by the stories held in the archives. These studies mad him powerful, yes, put him even farther ahead of his class then before. Roshii disliked what Lyon was doing, and eventually they began to be more distant with each other. Roshii found new friends, but Lyon found friends only in his books.
They were still best friends, but they were not as close as before. Until finally the time came for them: the time when they would be selected by a master.
