The Neysai are a peaceful,senitent Force-sensitive race of healers.Their leaders are also their greatest healers. They resemble horses with horns. They were natives of the planet of Terra and were called unicorns by the people of that planet. They have the ability to teleport themselves to any place they have been before or seen. The Neysai once a year shed their horns and grow new ones.When healing they use their horns to focus the Force by touching the thing, or person to be healed with their horns. They are most effective against poisons and purifying of water and other substances. Discarded horns retained some this healing and purifying ability because of being used with the Force for healing. And were given to friends and allies as tokens of friendship and respect. But only discarded horns have this ability. If the horns are taken any other way the ability is lost. Because of this ability to heal arose the mistaken belief that their horns only had healing powers. They were hunted and killed to gain their horns because of this mistaken belief. To save their race, the Neysai were given refuge on Tuatha De Dannan by The Sidhe royal Clan, thus disappeared from Terra. Becoming the basis of the unicorn myth on Terra.
