In my travels of the Star Wars world I have come across many beings who have a story behind their avatar and name. I would like to take a minute to explain to those who are interested, how I got the name that I did. Those of you who are familiar with the Old Republic, mainly the Mandalorian and the Jedi Civil Wars, know of the Exile. The Exile is the only known Jedi that defied the Jedi council, like Revan and Malak, and returned to face the council's judgement. It is canonically believed that the Exile was a woman and that she was the only Jedi who served under Revan during Malachor V who resisted the dark side. Before the Mandalorian wars she was well known for developing force bonds with fellow padawans and knights, which had only been seen before in the bond between Master and student. Many disliked her for this, believing she lusted for control over others and power. She left for the Mandalorian wars shortly after Revan and Malak joined in the war. She left only to protect the people in the worlds being killed by the Mandalorians. She was promoted to General and while she was overseeing the final battle at Malachor V, she gave the order to activate the Mass Shadow Generator when it was clear that the bulk of the Republic's forces, led by Revan, would not arrive in time to engage the massed Mandalorian armada. She watched silently from the bridge of her command ship as the generator crushed both the Republic and Mandalorian forces caught in its destructive wake. The ensuing death and destruction, particularly that of comrades she had come to know during the war, caused such a substantial wound in the Force that the shock would have killed the Exile had she not unconsciously sealed herself away from the Force, effectively severing her connection to it. Thereafter she was deafened to its call; incapable of sensing it through the interference caused by the Force echoes of the suffering that she had inflicted and been forced to witness. Due to this, the council's decision was to exile her. She wandered for years until she became stong in the force again under her new Master Kreia. She defeated the Sith Triumvirate which consisted of Darth Sion, Darth Nihilus, and Darth Traya. She also trained the Lost Jedi who would rebuild the Jedi order which would blossom in ranks until the Great Purge, which was overseen by Darth Sidious and Darth Vadar. Atton Rand was one of the lost Jedi, who was redeemed by the exile. He served in both the Mandalorian and Jedi civil war and killed Jedi daily. One day a Jedi showed him the force and taught him that he was force sensitive. After that, he left the ranks and became a refugee as well as a smuggler. He was always trying to lose himself and his past... Until he met the Exile. She trained him as a Jedi Sentinal and they fell in love. The Exile and Atton are my parents and I seek to fill the role and name they left behind. Just as they saved the Republic and the Jedi order, I strive to build upon it and help others feel the potential for growth within themselves. So this is my story, at least a backround of where I came from and who I hope to be.
