Of Laptops and Spyware/Viruses
My apologies to all. I am experiencing major difficulties with my one and only link to the WoSW. My laptop is playing host to multiple spyware/virus infections. At last count my Security Center and Spyware program had identified and quarantined over 400 identified threats.
And there are still more out there. With each new update, more and more are being found. When I ran spyware last night, it found nearly 100 threats that had not been found the day before.
The point being is that I will be back as soon as I am able. This is a forced hiatus that I am very unhappy about. When in an Explorers page window, such as this one, there is a definite chance that I will suffer a critical error and my system will reboot on it's own, with me having no say in the matter.
I had hoped to have this resolved by now. I have no time frame, and cannot afford to put the laptop with Geek Squad to get this resolved.
I thank you for your patience in this, and will be back as soon as possible.

Vista sucks. I am a network engineer (unemployed mind u, but still have the degree) and I have read and heard nothing but bad reviews for Vista still. If you can, go back to XP, and if u are able, try to reload ur computer to manufacturing setting with ur restore disks, that some times take a way most viruses.posted May 31, 2008 11:45 AM | Report Abuse - Anakin Skywalker
Don't do bussiness with geek squad as far as waranties trust me my old desktop was still in waranty and they would not fix it.Vista sucks I suggest staying with XP it still works mostly my new pc has vista and keeps losing connection to enternet and I can use my laptop with the same wireless connector and in the same place and get connection plug the desktop up with wire and the whole thing shuts down.posted May 30, 2008 8:45 AM | Report Abuse - Pappy-Wan Kenobi
