Darth Scathe, Lord of Destruction
"Lord Scathe."
"Yes, Levik"
"The Legends End has reached Alzoc III, and your shuttle is ready for deployment."
"Thank you Levik, I'll meet you in the hanger soon."
"Yes, Master."
"Is there anything else, Levik?"
"No Master."
"Then why are you still talking to me?" The comlink clicked off and I sighed. Levik is a fool, a fool with a good heart. But that good heart will get him killed one day. I opened my eyes and looked around the meditation room, it was dark and empty, as usual. I could feel another person in the room with me, although I knew there was nobody there. I sighed again and closed my eyes. Thoughts that I had been having started to fill my mind, traitorous thoughts, thoughts that would have got me killed when I was a young Sith Adept. I listened to them frequently, I had been tought to listen to my thoughts, taught that they might help me in the task I needed complete, and so far that training hadn't failed me.
I began thinking about my childhood, growing up as a member of the Sith, being trained from a young age to be the best. And now I was, and everyone knew it. They all wanted to be trained at the Ruusan academy, to be tutored under the name of the great Darth Scathe, Lord of Destruction. But nobody ever realized that the life of a Sith isn't as fun as it seems. From a young age I was trained to be the best Lightsaber duelest in history, greater than Lord Maul, greater than Lord Bane, greater than anyone who has ever held the title of Blademaster or Battlemaster, and nobody knew how great of a result my training had been.
From age fourteen I could have been the youngest Sith in history to have been admitted into the High Council, but they were all afraid of my power, all of them were worried that I might use it against them and create a single power rule. They were afraid of a young boy who hadn't even had completed his training with a Master yet. But I was still able to complete my training, and I was still able to become the best. I don't even remember my real name, nor do I care to remember it. As far as I am concerned, the person I was before I became a Sith doesn't exist.
The thoughts of my past dissapear and my mind is suddenly filled with thoughts of something that is coming up, something in my near future that will change me and all around me. A feeling that the Force is giving me, the feeling that what's going to happen to change everything is going to happen soon. It's odd, this feeling doesn't scare me, it just makes me feel better, it makes me think that what's going to happen is a change for the best. Something that will affect the galaxy. I sigh again and try to pinpoint where I am getting this feeling, and why the Force is giving it to me now. I try with no luck, but that doesn't stop me from trying again and again. Everytime I seem to get close, I lose it.
The comlink beeps again just as I start to try again and it startles me. In less than half a second I'm standing up, my lightsaber in hand and activated, it's teal glow lighting up the room, and I look around. The comlink beeps again and I let out a deep breath as I deactivate my saber and pick up the comlink. "This better be good."
"Master, the shuttle is prepped and ready for you."
"Good, I'll be there shortly Levik."
"Yes, Master."
"And Levik."
"Yes?"
"Check your gear, make sure you're ready for anything un-expected."
"Yes my Lord." The comlink shuts down and I holster my saber. I realize I'm covered in sweat and call a towel over to dry myself off. That feeling of foreboding fills my mind again and I start speeding up my drying process. Something tells me this is going to be my last mission as a Sith. If that's true, then I'll make sure that this mission goes down in history. I get my robes on and check to make sure my Shortsaber is in it's place, and to make sure that my Lightsaber is on my side. I take a deep breath and open the door to my chambers. The hallway is bustling with troopers running along, trying to feed their supperiors with intel. A proud smile creeps across my face as I see the crew working their hardest to make sure the Legends End is in it's best working conditions. I stride out of my chambers and make my way to the hanger where my shuttle is, carefully examing the crew as I move along.
