What will happen to the Beta Site Yahoo World of Star Wars if Microsoft takes over Yahoo in a buy out?
I am a current avid member of the Beta Yahoo World of Star Wars. I along with many other users on this site are wondering what are Yahoo's plans with this site. Is Yahoo planning on keeping the site? The lack of updates to the site and no Yahoo staff presence seems to make many of the users including myself to think that this site will soon be abandoned especially if microsoft takes over Yahoo. We would also like to know what happened to the staff member known as Y2-D2? He has been missing for some time now and a lot of us miss the guy!
I have as a fan artist posted well over 300 original pictures to the site and I am wondering also what will happen to all of my artwork and my account? Will this site ever make it past the Beta format? What plans does Yahoo have for this site or is it going to be changed to something else? Please answer there are over a 1000 members on this site and we really need some help. The site is getting buggy with errors and really needs updates!
