Who Wants to be a Millionaire Expanded EU Edition Part II
Hi, folks! Here is the next EU Millionaire. I don't think this one is quite as funny as the others. It has a little more of a plot to it. Enjoy!
NOTE: All characters are from the Dark Nest Trilogy except the mystery guest.
Luke: Welcome back to 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire.' Once again, I am Luke Skywalker and I will be your host. We have the same contestants as last time but in case you didn't catch the last episode here they are: Seat number one is reserved for our mystery guest; seat number two is my wife, Mara Jade Skywalker; seat three is our son, Ben Skywalker; seat number four is Han Solo; seat five, my sister, Leia Organa; seat six is Zekk; seat seven is Jaina Solo; and in seat eight we have Jagged Fel. Give them a hand!
Crowd cheers and some beings blow horns.
Luke: Before we begin I would like to mention that the mystery guest a complete surprise to me and our other contestants. Our producer, Shira Brie, organized the mystery guest and has told no one. All I know is the mystery guest will appear sometime later in the show. Here we go. Tonight's Fastest Finger Question is: Put these Old Republic Senators in order starting with the oldest: Garm Bel Iblis, Mon Mothma, Padme Amidala, Bail Organa, Finis Valorum.
Think music plays while the contestants come up with their answers.
Luke: Time is up! Let's see the correct answers: Finis Valorum, Bail Organa, Garm Bel Iblis, Mon Mothma, and finally, Padme Amidala. Looks like,hmmm, Mara. Congratulations. Please, come have a seat and let's begin!
Mara gets up, glides to the hotseat and sits down in front of Luke.
Mara: Let's get on with it, Skywalker.
Luke: OK, your first question: What forest moon is home to short furry creatures who use rocks and wooden catapults as weapons?
A) Nar Shaddaa
B) Sernpidal
C) Endor
D) Jade Moon
Mara: That would be C, Endor. That is my final answer.
Luke: Correct. Next question: What did Emp...
Luke goes silent as he reads the end of the question to himself. He has a nervous look on his face.
Mara: Are you going to keep the question to yourself or will you fill me in?
Luke clears his throat and tries the question again.
Luke: How did Emperor Palpatine keep his Emperor's Hands loyal to him?
A) With lollipops
B) By telling them they were
the only Hand
C) With free Sundae Sundays
D) With mind wipes
Luke finishes the question and wearily looks up at Mara. There is a brief moment of anger in her eyes that quickly dies.
Mara: voice cracking That would be B. That is my final answer.
Luke: Yes, that is correct. Moving along. What was the Emperor's last...
Luke breaks off again. The crowd grows uneasy. Han rests his hand on the butt of his blaster. Jaina does the same with her lightsaber.
Mara: Finish the question, Skywalker.
Luke: I...I don't think I should.
Mara: It's just a question. What harm could it possibly cause?
Luke: Alright, here goes. What was the Emperor's last command given telepathically to a Hand?
Han: I have a very bad feeling about this.
As if on cue, a spoltlight comes on directly above a hooded figure standing by the backstage door. Jaina, Zekk, and Leia jump up and ignite their lightsabers.
Luke: Uh, Mara. Do you think we should call Nanna to come get Ben?
Mara doesn't answer.
Luke: Mara?
Luke turns to look at his wife to find her eyes cloudy and the expression on her face distant.
The hooded figure walks into the center of the stage and he is revealed to be none other than Emperor Palpatine himself.
Emperor: I believe the answer to the current game question is: YOU WILL KILL LUKE SKYWALKER!
Mara: Yes, Master.
Leia: Han! Call Nanna!
Ben: Way ahead of you, Aunt Leia!
Ben turns to run out of the studio on his way to his Nanny Droid when two Royal Guards step in his path.
Emperor: Let him go, guards. He is of no use....yet.
Ben barely makes it out of the studio before the Emperor sends Han, Leia, Jaina, Jag, and Zekk slamming into the doors and wall leaving Luke and Mara alone in the center of the studio. The crowd scrambles to get out of the studio as quick as possible.
Luke: Mara, don't let him control you. You've been through this before. Listen to me, let me guide you.
Mara uses the Force to send his lightsaber flying into her hand.
There is a sound of two lightsabers igniting.
