Dawn Shadows used two dark lavender Kaiburr crystals from Mimban, the fifth planet in the Circarpous Major System in the Expansion Region, and Mandalorian iron to construct both a lightwhip and a practice lightwhip. She also used two dark lavender crystals from the Crystal Caves of Iium to construct herself a shoto and a practice shoto. She picked up hunter green crystals to make a shoto and a practice shoto for Master Vos for going with Jass, who had to fly them all over the galaxy to get the needed supplies, Grainne, and Marabeth so they could all get the suppies they needed to construct their weapons for the upcoming NJO tournament and to defend the Jedi Temple against the constantly invading minions of the dark side. While constructing weapons, she made herself a second dark lavender lightsaber and a pair of practice lightsabers. Although that makes for quite a full NJO issue Jedi Utility Belt, she should now have anything she might need to use to defend herself.

While on the trip, Marabeth picked up a crystal and constructed herself a second lightsaber, and Grainne picked herself up the hotest, sexiest, dueling outfit on this side of Endor, or the other side. It features a pair of leather pants so tight you can not only tell if she is wearing her official NJO panties, but see what color the logo is on them as well as a leather top so low cut you can almost get a peek at her nipples and cut high enough to see her belly button ring. She also has an super sexy NJO utility belt that fits perfectly on her hips to accent them.

While taxiing Dawn, Grainne, & Marabeth
around the galaxy in his YT-2550 picking up the necessary items to make weapons
for the tournament Jass acquired several items to construct a pair of dual
phase lightsabers himself. While stopping off on Mimban, Jass obtained a pair
of Kaiburr crystals and four green focusing crystals from Ilum. Using a
halocron from the Jedi archives Jass used parts from old scrap X-wings to
construct his new lightsabers. Unlike normal lightsabers however, Jass used
instructions contained within the halocron to construct sabers that switched
from regular length, to the shorter Shoto style saber. At normal length the
blades would appear green, however when (with the aide of the force to trip the
internal mechanism) the shorter shoto blade would appear silver with a green tint.After flying them around they made a stop in Remnant space so that Jass could meet with an old friend named Ithe'dge'ythroon (Edge). A Chiss woman from whom Jass knew from his smuggling days. Meeting in secret, Jass was able to obtain a Chiss Charric blaster from her before returning to the Temple with the girls.
